Spring happenings

Hey everyone!  I know I haven't posted in a while (we were having trouble uploading pictures to our computer) so to make up for it, I'm doing a post on some of the things we've been up to this spring.  Hope you enjoy it!!

One of the earliest things I did this spring was go tho the Portland
pro-life rally with my dad and cousin.
Field trips to the children's museum (and any other field trip for
that matter) are always a big hit.
Our annual early spring dance recital.
Throughout the spring, I have continued with
my horse riding lessons.
At the Hillsboro St. Patricks day parade (raining and freezing cold, as usual).
Most of our spring break consisted of doctor appointments.
The annual builder's expo for our
homeschool group was a big hit this year.
We always enjoy looking at the many flowers of spring.

James, Mariposa, and I all did CYO track with our church this year.
It was really fun, and I'll have to do another post about it!
Bird watching is one of our (ok, one of MY) favorite parts of spring.

We celebrated Fr. Juan's birthday party at a local tavern this year.
We got six chicks this spring!  Celeste was really excited and whenever
we go outside to see them she says, "Baby bok bok, baby bok bok!"
We went to our traditional 9am on Easter morning.
After mass, we went to our friends house for Easter brunch this year.
Celeste was old enough this year that we were
able to spend a weekend in Astoria again.
(I'll have to do a post about this too)
Within a few weeks, we went to Astoria again!
This time for a day long field trip with our homeschool group.
After a cross country trip with my dad to bring our Jeep
back to Oregon, my grandpa stayed for a week in the spring
and helped us around the house and garden.
At the end of my grandpa's stay, he brought me to
Michigan to spend a week and a half with family there!
(The picture was taken the morning I left. I had to wake up at 3am!!)
I guess this is yet another thing I'll have post about!
Going to the Hillsboro Saturday market is one of our favorite things  about spring!
(Yes, that is Gemma playing in the fountain in 48 degree weather)

I hope you liked this post!  I'll be doing some more soon so stay tuned!
