Wer'e going to the zoo, zoo, zoo.

About a month ago we took a trip to the zoo while dad was hosting a brunch. Enjoy the pics (from my camera)!

Does this count an animal from the zoo?
First stop: The Great Northwest

Both mountain goats seemed lazy.
If you look closely you can see his eye open.
I wonder what they are looking at.
Fun fact: Elk shed their antlers once a year.
The bald eagles were very pretty.

Sedric really liked the fish. I wonder if he will call them
"la las" like Gemma did when she was his age.
These baby turtles hatched in September!
Painted turtles.
Sedric also liked the river otters.
It was hard to get pictures of the beavers because they moved so fast.
This snake slithered away after I used flash to take a picture of it.
 Last stop: Africa
There were three different kinds of giraffe.

This is some kind of hornbill.
Trying to get a good picture.
Gemma loved the lion statues.

The lions really like to rest in that spot.
This is was my first time seeing the African wild dogs!

Unfortunately, the cheetah wasn't in the mood for running.
The python was very long.
This shows how long it is compared to the other predators in Africa.
Don't fall for it's cuteness. They are very vicious.

A pretty little plant.
We had a lot of fun at the zoo and I hope we can go again soon!

The end.

  1. The bobcats might have been hungry and were looking at the animal next to them, also the bald eagles do look kind of cool. Also what is the picture on the end?
